I just came back from a 5-days-holiday (11th – 15th June) with my friends, two from Singapore and one from Selangor, all are my course-mates. We began our journey from Johor Bahru by renting a car, to Melaka, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Ipoh, and Muar.
The car we rented from Hawk Rent A Car, quite cheap, total RM850 for 5 days trip. Nissan Sylphy 2.0
Archery(RM15 for 15 arrows) and Paintball Target Shooting(RM25 for 50bullets) at A Famosa Sports and Recreation.
The Hangout Hotel at Jonker street, Melaka. Very nice. Worth it with Rm252 for 4 persons.
Satay Celup at Jalan Ong King Wee, Melaka. I used to eat this very often, and introduced to my friends who first tried this. Price unchanged, RM0.60 per stick.
A photo captured by photographer in Ice Skating court, Sunway Pyramid. Taking picture with some random girls. Two guys on the right are my Singaporean friends. On the left is the one from Selangor.
Kek Lok Si, Penang.
Night view of Georgetown, Penang. I was standing at the Mountain top of Penang Hill!
Penang 桃园 (Taoyuan) at Jalan Campbell. Having Dimsum as breakfast there. The Egg Tart is famous there, but not captured in photo.
And this, the 芽菜鸡(Beansprout Chicken) at Ipoh. Nice, but a little too salty. Mixing with rice is just nice.
5 days trip, feeling greater than 5 weeks staying at home.
Although it is just a 5 days trip, it’s kind of entertaining, relaxing, and fun to enjoy the trip with friends. Throughout the trip, we planned, we booked hotel, rented car, then ate, drove, sleep, played, and get drunk!
It’s a memorable trip. The effect of getting myself off of stress is far better than staying for 5 weeks doing nothing at home. Travelling will be part of my yearly event soon.
After this, I am going to Nanning, China, for four days trip. This trip is going to be different. First, it’s not only for entertainment, but for an investment project too. Second, it’s the first trip I go China. Third, I am going to learn more stuff, including China’s culture, and the investment project itself. I will blog it next week!
